On the heights of the village of Atuona, overlooking the harbor, the bay and the green valley of Tahauku, the guesthouse Kanahau is run by the friendly Tania. 4 simple yet clean cottages, furnished in teak wood and tamanu await you. Each unit has its private bathroom with hot water, TV, ceiling fan and a covered terrace with a very nice view over the valley or bay. The large dining room of the guest house, decorated in local style, has a large terrace from where you will have an exceptional panorama, while taking your continental breakfast. Which better way to start your day!

Restaurants

Meals are served on a large common table under a beautiful pergola overlooking the bay of Tahauku.

Continental breakfast is served from 6h30 am.
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate will be offered with brioche bread, homemade jams (bananas, passion fruit, papaya, pineapple ...), fresh fruit plate.

Dinner is on request. Reservation and payment on site directly. It is served from 7h30 pm.
There is a fixed menu with main course and dessert.

The guest house does not provide lunch.
However, customers will find something to eat in the various snacks and shops of the village of Atuona.

Limited bar on site (only local beers)

The guest house organizes half-day or full day tours to explore the island of Hiva Oa.
Reservation and payment directly on-site.
